This role also conditions & trains you for future commercial roles while you work with a very diverse & motivated team, building your capabilities in an organization driven by deep rooted values.Meaningful Work from Day OneThe objective of the role is to develop & accelerate Brown-Forman brands in MEA Travel Retail, guided by our brand building philosophy and global brand strategies. By spending time at the airport retail outlets, building customer relationships and training & mentoring our Brand Consultants, you will be well equipped to take important decisions related to interventions that support B-F’s performance. You will lead our team of Brand Consultants & build their capabilities in the region. A highly collaborative role, you will be negotiating with customers and working closely with your team members.What You Can ExpectThe role requires you to,Focus on UAE for 50% of the time & the rest of MEA for the other 50%Visit airport Duty Free outlets in the region to develop insights from the shop floorEnsure the pre-defined presence & availability of B-F brands on the shop floorBuild relationships with purchasing & shop floor contacts to identify profitable growth opportunities and negotiate & influence the enhancement of our presence in storesPartner with the Customer Marketing team to support the flawless execution of our brand building activities & work with customers to evaluate these activities to make future recommendations.Recruit, lead, train, motivate & evaluate our Brand Consultants in the regionManage investments and make recommendations that positively support the shape of the region’s P&LPartner with Customer Service / Supply Chain teams / suppliers to ensure timely availability of stock & materials for promotions & activationsInput into monthly & quarterly performance review for MEA TR.Support with pricing, listing and space negotiations with customersManage the P&Ls of customers assigned to you, this is with the intent of developing you for future account management roles and a career in commercialWhat You Bring to the TableMinimum 4 years of experience in field sales, recruiting & leading sales teams in a similar roleTraining & mentorship capabilities to build a strong sales team.Proven ability in developing strong, effective working relationships with external & internal stakeholdersAbility to negotiate, inform and make decisionsStrong analytical & commercial skills with experience in operational planning, investment management and brand performance reviewAbility to communicate in written & spoken English, this is the business language used in the regionWhat Makes You UniqueThe below skills & experience, while not mandatory requirements are very useful for the position.Experience working in the Travel Retail channelA deep understanding of the MEA region, gained from working remotely for or based in the regionAbility to communicate in Hindi, Arabic or Tagalog, in addition to the mandatory requirement of EnglishWho We AreWe believe great people build great brands.
