SynopsisEnsure efficiency in operations by performing maintenance and servicing duties as per specific guidelines. These include coordination of various technical activities, ensuring adherence to mechanical procedures and monitoring the final tests of equipment and vehicles after servicing and repair. Ensure active participation in the repair, disassembly and assembly of engines and overhaul components.Specific ResponsibilitiesExecute shift activities and ensure receipt of timely and accurate shift‑related information from the previous shift personnel.Receive inputs on the daily activity schedule and divide tasks amongst the team accordingly.Monitor the logbook and ensure records on rectification work are executed as per schedule, including timely updating of details such as job cards, engine serial and parts numbers, equipment removed, date and time work started and completed.Ensure operating and safety procedures of various equipment are adhered to; physically involved in repair and overhaul of equipment, engines and components.Monitor the final test of equipment and vehicle after servicing, ensuring efficient operation of engine, gearbox steering, brakes and instruments.Use experience to identify user requirements, resolve and repair problems, and return equipment to the concerned section in serviceable condition within defined timelines.Assist technicians in fault diagnosis and installation of new or rebuilt equipment.Coordinate with foremen after task completion and provide updates to ensure timely closure of job cards.Prepare for the next shift by coordinating requirements, updating requisite documents and ensuring smooth handover of duties.Monitor escalations and resolve queries as required to ensure uninterrupted operations.Ensure technical, safety and security standards are met through preparation for regular monitoring and unannounced checks.Carry out any other reasonable request of the management.Education & ExperienceCompletion of secondary (12 years) technical education, an approved recognized technical course, and 4‑5 years experience in a similar position.Training and KnowledgeThorough understanding of internal systems and processes. Good communication skills. High coordination skills.
