Job Description

Job PurposeThe Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will act as a strategic partner to the CFO, driving financial performance, strengthening reporting through digitalisation and automation, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the Group. This leadership role is central to business planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and investment evaluation, providing insights that influence strategic, financial, and operational outcomes. The role combines strong technical FP&A expertise with commercial acumen, leadership capability, and forward‑looking analytical thinking.Core Tasks & ResponsibilitiesLead Group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processes;Champion digitalisation and innovation within FP&A, leveraging AI, automation, and BI tools;Prepare and present financial analysis, executive dashboards, and performance reports to senior leadership and the Board;Partner with business units and subsidiaries to consolidate budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and align with strategic priorities;Evaluate investment opportunities and challenge proposals from a commercial and financial perspective;Continuously improve FP&A processes, controls, and reporting to enhance efficiency and insight;Support cash flow management and scenario analysis for key business initiatives;Build and lead a high‑performing FP&A team, providing mentorship and development;Represent Finance on internal committees and cross‑functional initiatives;Contribute to corporate decision‑making and risk mitigation discussions;Maintain strong understanding of operating businesses to provide actionable financial guidance;Lead preparation of Board and Committee materials and liaise with auditors and key stakeholders;Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and proactive financial stewardship.Core CompetenciesQualified Chartered AccountantBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fieldCFA highly desirableMBA from a globally accredited university in Finance, Strategy, or related discipline is desirableAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics toolsExperience with ERP and BI systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Tableau)Strong leadership and people management capabilityStrategic mindset with attention to detailExcellent analytical, modelling, and forecasting skillsDigital fluency with a focus on process improvementStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence senior leadership and Board‑level decisionsStrong commercial acumen and business understandingHigh curiosity and problem‑solving orientationSolid grasp of capital allocation, cash flow management, and capital efficiencyArabic fluency highly desirableExperience 10–12 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Investor Relations, or related financial leadership rolesExperience within a diversified group or investment holding structure, ideally in the GCCExposure to executive leadership and Board reporting environmentsStrong background in investment evaluation and financial modellingDemonstrated ability to drive finance transformation and digital initiativesExperience leading teams and influencing cross‑functional stakeholdersProven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, strategic insights.#J-18808-Ljbffr
