With a workforce of more than 2,000 talented professionals worldwide, the group has built its reputation on operational excellence, innovation, and a drive to deliver results across every business it touches.Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Group Financial Control Director to lead the development and oversight of the financial control framework across diverse business lines, including transportation, logistics, warehousing, and supporting services. The role will shape methodologies, enhance management reporting, and ensure strong, system‑driven cost review processes aligned with key performance metrics.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & MethodologyDesign, implement, and enhance financial control frameworks across business lines, focusing on fixed asset management, internal fleet operations, and warehousing operations.Drive the formalisation of the control framework, ensuring standardisation and consistency.Develop and refine cost‑review methodologies to ensure systematic, transparent processes.Drive automation and system‑based controls to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.Provide oversight and guidance to business controllers, emphasising control‑driven decision‑making.Management Reporting & AnalysisLead the production, accuracy, and timeliness of management reports across the Group.Enhance reporting frameworks to capture key business drivers and potential issues.Develop dashboards and analytical tools for real‑time visibility into business performance.Identify trends, variances, and risks early, recommending corrective actions.Coordinate and consolidate business line budgets, ensuring alignment with Group objectives.Team LeadershipManage and develop a team of financial controllers, ensuring alignment with group‑wide policies and standards.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive risk management.Provide mentorship and training to strengthen financial control and reporting capabilities.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with senior leadership, business line heads, and operational managers to align control frameworks with strategic goals.Act as a key liaison between finance and business operations, ensuring transparency and trust in financial information.Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to non‑financial stakeholders.Role RequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) strongly preferred.12–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial control or reporting leadership role.Proven track record of designing and implementing financial control frameworks across multiple business lines.Strong knowledge of fixed asset management, fleet and warehouse controlling, and cost methodology frameworks.Hands‑on experience in management reporting, dashboard creation, and KPI‑driven performance monitoring.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels.Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools; strong orientation toward system‑driven solutions.Demonstrated leadership of teams across geographies and/or business lines.Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesHuman Resources ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential MEA by 2x.#J-18808-Ljbffr
