AECOM invites you to apply for the role of Graduate Engineer Ports & Marine within our dedicated team. This opportunity is part of our Graduate Program where you will work closely with experienced Engineers on exciting port and marine projects.About the Role:As a Graduate Engineer Ports & Marine at AECOM you will play a vital role in developing designs calculations sketches diagrams and project models according to specific discipline requirements. You will collaborate with experienced Engineers to ensure high-quality outputs within project timelines. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with design content using design and technical knowledge to meet project objectives.Performing work under supervision to meet budget and schedule requirements.Collecting and analyzing information from discipline‑specific and interdisciplinary project BIM models.Utilizing computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.Coordinating with other discipline Engineers to maintain design continuity.Participating in design progress and coordination meetings.Ensuring the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams verifying accuracy to design instructions.Actively seeking information and opportunities to contribute to project efficiencies and effectiveness.Solving problems and applying knowledge to atypical assignments contributing to project success.What Were Looking For:We are seeking enthusiastic graduates who are:Passionate about engineering in the ports and marine sector.Proficient in using engineering software tools.Effective communicators and team players.Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.Your Development Journey:Throughout the graduate program you will:Receive comprehensive training and mentorship from experienced Engineers.Gain exposure to a variety of port and marine engineering projects.Develop technical skills in maritime design calculations and project management.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.Engage in professional development opportunities to expand your knowledge and expertise in the field of ports and marine engineering.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in one or more of the following subjects from an accredited University:Structural engineeringGeotechnical engineeringCoastal engineeringMarine engineeringCandidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.Additional InformationRecruitment TimelineHeres what you can expect throughout the application journey.Applications Open: April 23 2025Applications Close: May 23 2025Screening & Interviews: May June 2025 (includes CV review phone screening and technical interviews)Mobilization & Processing: July August 2025Start Date: September 2025 (Earlier start requests will be considered on a casebycase basis)Program Orientation: October 2025 Our full graduate cohort from across the Middle East will come together for a dedicated induction networking and teambuilding experience.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
