Rushmore American School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Grade 1 Teacher to join our growing team for the 2025-2026 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students while fostering a love for learning.Key Responsibilities:Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate and engaging Grade 1 curriculum aligned with the American Common Core Standards.Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes student well-being, confidence, and independence.Utilise adaptive teaching methods to meet the needs of your students.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction.Integrate technology into teaching to enhance student learning experiencesQualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.Valid teaching certification/licensure from a recognized authority.Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in a Grade 1 or lower primary setting.Experience with the American curriculum and Common Core Standards is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.What We Offer:Competitive tax-free salary.School provided housing.Supportive and collaborative working environment.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their CV and a cover letter to chrism@rushmoreamericanschool.ae , outlining their suitability for the role.
