TitleGovernment affairs supervisorKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.KBR is looking for a Government affairs supervisor who will monitor, information, strategic counselling and advocacy activities, including the preparation of internal reports and information documents regarding laws and regulatory issues, as well as the planning and coordination of related government relations activities for Contractor. Provide strategic direction to Contractor for government affairs agenda, manage the contractor's state government relations activities.Nationality: SaudiResponsibilitiesGovernment Liaison and Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact between the organization and Saudi government entities, including ministries, regulatory bodies, and municipal authorities.Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders to facilitate smooth business operations and regulatory compliance.Represent the company in official meetings, forums, and public-sector initiatives.Regulatory Compliance and MonitoringEnsure the company complies with all applicable Saudi laws, regulations, and government protocols.Monitor changes in government policies and regulations, especially those related to labor, immigration, licensing, and business operations.Advise internal departments on regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.Documentation and Permit ManagementOversee the preparation, submission, and follow-up of all government-related documentation, including:Work and residency permit (Iqama)Visas and passport renewalsCommercial licenses and municipal approvalsCustoms and import/export documentationMaintain accurate records of all government transactions and ensure timely renewals.Internal Coordination and ReportingCollaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on government-related processes.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on regulatory developments, risks, and opportunities.Resolve issues or delays in government processes efficiently and diplomatically.QualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.Strong knowledge of Saudi laws and regulation i.e. labor, immigration, licensing, and commercial operations.Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.Proven leadership skills with large organizations.Excellent organizational and leadership skill.Strategic thinking, open to new ideas.Proven experience as an effective public spokesperson, great communicator and advocate.Belong.
