This role ensures that the shop floor functions seamlessly, maintaining the highest standards of presentation, service, and efficiency. Acting as the primary support to the Retail Manager, the Supervisor leads the front-line retail team by example, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the 5-star luxury positioning of the facility. The incumbent acts as the "Floor Manager," ensuring merchandise is replenished, staff are deployed effectively, and sales targets are actively pursued.</p><h3>JOB OVERVIEW – PURPOSE AND SCOPE</h3><p>The purpose of this position is to bridge the gap between management strategy and daily execution. The scope involves direct supervision of Retail Assistants, management of shift rotations, and the practical application of visual merchandising guidelines. The Retail Supervisor is accountable for accurate cash handling, stock security, and resolving first-tier guest complaints. Additionally, this role plays a pivotal part in tournament operations, assisting with golfer check-ins and the distribution of tee gifts during high-profile events.</p><h3>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</h3><h3>Floor Operations&Team Leadership</h3><ul><li>Orchestrate the daily opening and closing procedures of the retail shop, ensuring the facility is immaculate before the first guest arrives.</li><li>Supervise, train, and motivate the Retail Assistants, providing real-time feedback and coaching on sales techniques and product knowledge.</li><li>Manage staff rostering and break schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage during peak times.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for guests requiring specialised assistance, including warranty claims or complex special orders.</li></ul><h3>Sales&Merchandising Execution</h3><ul><li>Drive daily sales performance by assigning individual targets to staff and monitoring progress throughout the shift.</li><li>Execute visual merchandising directives set by the Retail Manager; ensure displays are dusted, straightened, and fully stocked at all times.</li><li>Monitor "fast-movers" and "slow-movers" on the floor and report trends to the Retail Manager to aid in re-ordering.</li><li>Assist with inventory receiving, ensuring all incoming stock is quality-checked, tagged, and steamed/prepared for the floor immediately.</li></ul><h3>Financial Integrity&Systems</h3><ul><li>Oversee Point of Sale (POS) operations, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly and aligned with Qiddiya’s financial audit standards.</li><li>Perform daily cash ups, reconcile float variances, and investigate any discrepancies immediately.</li><li>Conduct weekly cycle counts of high-value items (e.g., hardware, GPS units, watches) to prevent shrinkage.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and execution of quarterly and annual full physical stocktakes.</li></ul><h3>ROLE QUALIFICATIONS</h3><h3>Education&Experience</h3><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Diploma in Retail Management or Hospitality is preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader capacity.</li><li>Experience within the golf industry or luxury fashion retail is highly desirable.</li><li>Previous experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Jonas, Retail Pro).</li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong working knowledge of POS systems and back-office retail software.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues with shop equipment.</li><li>Functional knowledge of golf equipment specifications (shaft flex, loft, grip size) to assist guests in the absence of a PGA Professional.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
