Global Senior Internal Auditor

A hands-on internal audit position performing internal audit assignments based on the annual audit plan, conducting follow up reviews and special reviews/ investigations based on requests from management and other stakeholders. The role focuses on Internal audits including operational, and financial audits across global locations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESExecute risk-based internal audit assignments based on the approved audit plan.Contribute to Annual Internal Audit planning for Business Audits.Perform end-to-end Business Audits i.e., focusing on operational, financial and compliance audits across global locations, in ERP (Microsoft D365) environment.Prepare and/or follow internal audit work programs.Prepare internal audit reports.Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Conduct audit meetings and discussions with auditees.Perform periodic follow-up audits on previous audit recommendations as per the approved audit plan.Assist in the preparation of reports to the Audit & Risk Committee.Perform special investigations or assignments given.Conduct training to enhance awareness of employees with regards to Audits, risk & controls or related fields.Engage with various stakeholders in the Company when performing audits.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONBasic Qualification / EducationBachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance or related field.A relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA, CFE etc.) is preferred.3+ years of experience in Internal Auditing, including at least 1 year with a Big4 firm.Minimum 1 year of experience in UAE.Proven ability to execute risk-based internal audit projects from start to finish and contribute to internal audit planning.Proficient in data analytics and tools like Excel, Power BI, ACL, or Arbutus.Good understanding of key processes, risks and controls in manufacturing and distribution business.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.Ability to work effectively in a global environment, flexibility to adapt to time zones and willingness to travel outside of UAE for audits.Familiarity with auditing in ERP systems like Microsoft D365 is a plus.Experience of working in multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.A team player who can also work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Ability to engage with senior management and influence decision-making processes with well-founded audit insights.Have a “can do” attitude with a positive drive and willingness to go above & beyond.#J-18808-Ljbffr
