Global Senior Internal Auditor

<div><p>A hands-on internal audit position performing internal audit assignments based on the annual audit plan, conducting follow up reviews and special reviews/ investigations based on requests from management and other stakeholders. The role focuses on Internal audits including operational, and financial audits across global locations.</p><h3>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Execute risk-based internal audit assignments based on the approved audit plan.</li><li>Contribute to Annual Internal Audit planning for Business Audits.</li><li>Perform end-to-end Business Audits i.e., focusing on operational, financial and compliance audits across global locations, in ERP (Microsoft D365) environment.</li><li>Prepare and/or follow internal audit work programs.</li><li>Prepare internal audit reports.</li><li>Assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.</li><li>Conduct audit meetings and discussions with auditees.</li><li>Perform periodic follow-up audits on previous audit recommendations as per the approved audit plan.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of reports to the Audit&Risk Committee.</li><li>Perform special investigations or assignments given.</li><li>Conduct training to enhance awareness of employees with regards to Audits, risk&controls or related fields.</li><li>Engage with various stakeholders in the Company when performing audits.</li></ul><h3>SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION</h3><h3>Basic Qualification / Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance or related field.</li><li>A relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA, CFE etc.) is preferred.</li><li>3+ years of experience in Internal Auditing, including at least 1 year with a Big4 firm.</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in UAE.</li><li>Proven ability to execute risk-based internal audit projects from start to finish and contribute to internal audit planning.</li><li>Proficient in data analytics and tools like Excel, Power BI, ACL, or Arbutus.</li><li>Good understanding of key processes, risks and controls in manufacturing and distribution business.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a global environment, flexibility to adapt to time zones and willingness to travel outside of UAE for audits.</li><li>Familiarity with auditing in ERP systems like Microsoft D365 is a plus.</li><li>Experience of working in multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.</li><li>A team player who can also work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to engage with senior management and influence decision-making processes with well-founded audit insights.</li><li>Have a “can do” attitude with a positive drive and willingness to go above&beyond.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
