Job Description A Global Project Engineer manages international engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, budget control, and adherence to timelines across different regions . They coordinate multidisciplinary teams, liaise with global stakeholders, and ensure compliance with international quality, safety, and regulatory standards, often requiring travel. Key responsibilities. Project planning and scheduling. Establishing project objectives, creating detailed schedules, and planning resource requirements across global sites. Technical coordination. Leading the engineering team in design reviews, interpreting client requirements, and ensuring technical accuracy. Budget and Cost Control. Managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure, and delivering projects within cost constraints. Global stakeholder liaison. c ommunicating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, often across time zones. Quality and safety compliance. Ensuring all work meets international safety standards hseq engineering codes, and quality assurance regulations. Problem solving and risk mitigation. Troubleshooting site issues, identifying risks, and implementing solutions for technical setbacks. Documentation and reporting. Preparing technical drawings, work packs, and progress reports for stakeholders. Key skills and requirements. Technical expertise. Degree in engineering mechanical, civil electrical and proficiency in cad tools. Communication. Excellent command of English and ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences. Leadership. Strong project management skills, including the ability to influence teams across borders. Flexibility. Willingness to travel internationally to support on site personnel.
