Job Description Role Overview: At ABB, as part of the Robotics business, you will play a crucial role in designing and leading the HR operations and services backbone of Robotics NewCo. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing the global HR Operations model, overseeing back-end HR services, front-office support, HRIS tools, payroll, and people analytics. You will contribute to building an agile, digital-first HR services organization that reflects the unique culture of Robotics NewCo. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement the HR Operations model for Robotics NewCo to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business needs. - Lead seamless HR service delivery across all regions, including back-end HR services, front-office employee support, and shared services in compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. - Own and optimize the payroll structure in collaboration with the HR Program Manager, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and employee satisfaction. - Drive deployment and optimization of HR tools, digital tools, and end-to-end HR processes for a seamless employee experience. - Establish a people analytics function to provide actionable insights to leaders and enable data-driven decision-making. - Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and agility. - Ensure governance, compliance, and quality standards across all HR services globally. - Develop service delivery metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to track and improve HR service performance. - Manage external vendors and outsourced service providers for service excellence and cost-effectiveness. - Partner with the finance team to improve data consistency between finance and HR for better business insights. - Act as an advisor to senior leadership on HR operational risks and opportunities. - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service mindset. Qualifications Required: - 10 years of experience in global HR operations, shared services, or HR technology leadership, preferably in technology, robotics, or innovation-driven industries. - Proven ability to design and implement HR operations models in complex, international contexts. - Strong expertise in payroll design and governance, including experience in carve-outs, integrations, or transformations. - Demonstrated success in managing HR tools, digital tools, and leveraging people analytics. - Hands-on, results-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic leadership and operational delivery. - Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives globally. - Degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or related field; HR technology, payroll, or project management certifications are a plus. - Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
