Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced legal, regulatory expert to join us as Senior Policy Advisor. This role serves to support Pay10 growth and entry in new markets and regulatory environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLicensing Strategy: Support and advise the Global Expansion team on licensing requirements and guidelines for entry into new markets.Policy Development: Draft, review, and update internal company policies related to financial services, compliance, risk management, and operations, while ensuring its full compliance with local laws and regulations.Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor and interpret regulatory trends, legal developments, and changes in licensing requirements related to E-money Institution and Payment Service Providers across multiple countries.Cross-functional Support: Provide policy and regulatory guidance to internal teams.Documentation: Ensure documentation is clear, aligned with legal requirements, and easily interpretable for internal use and external stakeholders.Governance: Contribute to regulatory governance frameworks and ensure policies are aligned with international best practices and company objectives.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience with financial regulators or in a legal/policy advisory role within a fintech or financial institution or consultancy firm.Knowledge of licensing regimes in Europe, APAC, MENA, GCC or LATAM regions.Familiarity with cross-border compliance standards such as AML, EMD2, PSD2, GDPR, etc.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in regulatory policy, financial services, legal advisory, or a related area.Deep understanding of regulatory licensing frameworks for fintech, e-money institutions, or payment services globally.Proven track record of drafting and implementing internal company policies and regulatory guidance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth, and multicultural environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
