About the job Geriatric Medicine Consultant JOB INFORMATIONJob Title: Geriatric ConsultantSHORT DESCRIPTIONAn Excellent opportunity to join as Geriatric Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top tier leading Hospital in Jeddah Saudi ArabiaMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-quality care to elderly patients in this area of medicine.Provide consultative service as requested.Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Performs special procedures as privileged.Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of required period of training in Geriatric medicine(Arab , Jordanian, Lebanese)Board certification in the relevant medical specialty is typically required or equivalent.Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as requiredA certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.Dataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMin. 5 years Post Board/Fellowship in Geriatric MedicineA registered member of the Saudi Board CouncilLanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
