Geotechnical Office Engineer

<div><h3>JOB DESCRIPTION</h3><ul><li>Support operations and commercial/business development teams in all technical activities.</li><li>Assist site engineers and project managers in preparing project documentation, including method statements, handover reports, and work procedures.</li><li>Prepare technical documentation for key projects as requested by the operations team.</li><li>Coordinate technical discussions and communications with consultants and follow up on approval processes.</li><li>Perform geotechnical calculations using in-house tools and software (e.g., bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction analysis) and prepare calculation reports.</li><li>Provide technical support to ensure all works comply with engineering standards, specifications, and design requirements.</li><li>Assist senior geotechnical engineers in design reviews and technical assessments.</li><li>Support tendering activities by contributing to technical proposals and commercial submissions.</li><li>Maintain and manage the company’s technical library, including standards, references, and guidelines.</li><li>Improve and develop existing calculation sheets and create new tools where required.</li><li>Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including technical brochures, project summaries, and presentations.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation, filing, and version control of all technical records.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in geotechnical or foundation engineering.</li><li>Strong knowledge of geotechnical design principles, soil mechanics, and foundation systems.</li><li>Experience with geotechnical calculations (bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction, etc.).</li><li>Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, geotechnical software).</li><li>Good understanding of international standards and codes (e.g., Eurocode, BS).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li><li>Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.</li></ul><p>Trevi Group is an equal opportunity employer.
