General Technician

Carryout all duties that are necessary in resolving reactionary activities and report the need for further maintenance and safety to supervising staffAttend day to day complaints Able to work on shift Ensure the proper use of all tools in the workshop for cutting bending and welding of equipmentCarryout detailed evaluation of workshop equipment to ensure that they are in good condition for proper functioningAssist less skilled workers in different phases of building construction and general maintenance and review works performed by them to ensure that they are in good conditionCarryout repairs on ceilings floors and walls by combining plaster of spackle and paintingInspect equipment such as refrigerators and air conditioners from time to time for proper cleaning speed temperature and adequate lubricationEnsure proper repair and finishing of doors desks tables chairs and otherfurniture in the organization to ensure comfort of staff and visitorsRepair and change locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety of all peopleEnsure maximum safety of all workers under their supervision by ensuring that they observe all safety measures to the latter and report conditions that are likely to endanger safety of workers to management for quick resolutionScheduling laying out and assigning workOperation of trade tools equipment materials methods and techniques used in skilled and general maintenance and repair for the following belowMay keep drainage ditches and culverts free of obstructionsPerforms preventative maintenance as assigned on systems equipment and structure within the hotelQualifications : Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.One year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.Additional Information : Remote LocationRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Building Services,Contracts & Procurement,HTML,JDE,Call Centre Department / Functional Area: Engineering Experience: years Vacancy: 1
