General Manager – Hospitality Operations

OverviewOur client, a major construction company are looking to recruit a General Manager for Hospitality Operations. The right candidate must have the technical expertise to provide advice regarding the implementation and delivery of operational requirements for the group’s hospitality business.ResponsibilitiesSupport the ‘Front End’ process of Hotel development, working with others to produce the Hotel Program or Facilities Program for the pre-operator concept.Work with consultants and other team members to produce Feasibility/Market Study report.Work with others during the operator for selection process.Manage the pre-opening process with the operator and project team for projects under development.Manage and or monitor time lines of various third parties involved in the execution of the development process.Review hotel and residential performance and P&L.Act as one of the key members of the Asset Management team to monitor operations and optimize hotel asset management and performance.Essential RequirementsBachelor Degree in a relevant discipline.An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.Must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.Must have a good understanding of the Food and Beverage production process, as it relates to assisting the technical team.Must have a strong understanding of Hotel Sales and Marketing plans and the use of distribution networks including central services.Must have a thorough understanding of the Hotel business and key factors which attribute to a property’s success or failure.As well as meeting the essential requirements below, you will have worked for a company, or in a role involved with Hospitality Market Study Consulting, Asset Development or Asset Management.About The CompanyCSC specialise in the recruitment of construction professionals globally into blue chip contractors, consultants and client organisations.
