Job Description
Our client from online apparel industry is looking to hire a General Manager – E-Commerce for their office based in JLT – Dubai.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for P&L of E-commerce divisionPlanning the modification of the e-commerce website to suit the best user experience and E- commerce-related marketing activities. Responsible for the website’s design, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and traditional marketing in conjunction with the agency hired.Establishing a marketing budget, calculating ROI, getting management approval, and adhering to the budget. Increase market impact and optimize budgets.Coordinate sales and customer serviceIncrease brand awareness with in-house DM and traditional marketing. Will be also responsible for research and coming up with new strategies.Plan, organize, and execute online promotions, set required KPIs and SLAs, leading the entire marketing lifecycle.Develop/nurture professional relationships with buyers via door-to-door store visits and have existing contacts with fashion apparel & accessories stores, such as B2B stores in UAE/ KSA, various marketplaces, multi-brand stores, and boutiques to sell the products replenishment plan for adding products and categories.Finding suitable suppliers for the products procuring. Buying and Merchandising. To launch new ranges according to the trends and activate those items on the e-commerce website, Product, and Brand in GCC, starting with the UAE market.Do Brand marketing and Trendsetting, and be “the Marketing voice” for E-commerce. Doing both online and offline “Go to market” strategies for E-commerce, discussing ideas, and challenge management for the strategies planned.Choosing the right portfolio of products for E-commerce and Making Price analysis to keep the products reasonably competitive and profitable. Competitor analysis.Manage merchandise of all products on the websiteReady to travel around the globe for meeting related to the business.Leading Digital Analytics, customer lead generation, daily and monthly reports, etc.Handling logistics and warehousingFacebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTubeDigital Marketing Accounts: Semrush (SEO), GA3 + GA4 certifiedads for: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube,programmatic ads.Requirements:Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fashion e-commerce worldHighly motivated and able to manage multiple projects in an entrepreneurial wayAble to delegate work to his team membersAbility to work with team members and hold once a week a team meeting motivating andbuilding strategies.
