General Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support our finance department in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliationsManage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and customer reconciliationsProcess monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursementMaintain and post general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and adjustmentsPerform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on a timely basisAssist in month‑end and year‑end closing activitiesPrepare financial schedules, reports, and supporting documents for management reviewEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirementsCoordinate with auditors and provide the required documentation during auditsMaintain proper filing and documentation of accounting recordsPerform additional accounting and finance‑related tasks as assigned by the Finance ManagerQualifications & ExperienceACCA, CA (Intermediate), or equivalent professional accounting qualificationProven experience as a General AccountantAccounting experience in the UAE or home country (2 Years)Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controlsExperience with accounting software / ERP systemsProficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsSkills & CompetenciesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamLocation: UAEEmployment Type: Full‑time#J-18808-Ljbffr
