We are looking for a General Accountant for our client a multinational company in Dubai.Job PurposeOverlook General Ledger accounting across the MEA regionFinance and TreasuryFunding Management and Working Capital Management under supervisionExposure on Guarantees (Tender, Advance, Performance and Retentions)Understand and follow Corporate Financial policies and proceduresAccountingImplementation of Group Accounting Manual (GAM) policies and procedures, Authorization gridsCompliance of Jsox, IFRS GuidelinesSubmission and adherence to corporate accounting and meeting corporate deadlinesData entry and supervision and review of monthly accounts, bank and inter‑company reconciliationsExperience & KnowledgeMinimum 5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in construction industry in UAE or the Middle East region3 years industry experiencePrepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account informationSubstantiates financial transactions by auditing documentsReconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account informationExcellent commercial sense and interest in businessFamiliarity in IFRS and SOX is advantageousExposure on multi currency handlingTrading, manufacturing and service related accounting knowledge preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
