GCP DevOps Specialist

Müller's Solutions is seeking a GCP DevOps Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and DevOps practices. Your expertise will drive the continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications hosted on GCP. You will work closely with development, operational, and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and enhance application performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage solutions, Kubernetes, and serverless functionsDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud BuildImplement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure reliability and security of cloud-based applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development workflows and enhance operational efficienciesAutomate infrastructure provisioning and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Deployment ManagerPerform cost optimization analyses and resource allocation planning for GCP servicesSupport incident management processes and provide technical guidance to resolve deployment and operational issuesContinuously evaluate new cloud technologies and services to enhance our GCP environmentRequirementsDegree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience: 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Google Cloud PlatformTechnical Skills: Proficient in Google Cloud services (e.g., GCE, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Functions), CI/CD tools, and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools is highly desirableAdditional Skills: Strong experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation tasks. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus) and security best practices in cloud environments.
