Game Designer

Ubisoft Abu Dhabi is seeking a highlymotivated Game Designer who will join an instudio team in the creation and support of live service freetoplay games currently in development and operation.What youll do:Creating and/or validating design documents game balance core systems and features prototypes UI flows and strategic and meta gameplayIntegrating assets providing detailed (and proactive) feedback and taking a handson approach to testing balance and gameplayReviewing and balancing implemented features and systems for quality and adherence to the design and business goals of the projectWorking with technical art audio and production leads to realize the game design vision in a timely manner and within the constraints of its scheduleCollaborating with the design team to iterate and evolve project features gameplay and balance on a consistent basisInteracting with the games community on its forums and ingame after launch in order to understand their needs and return their passion and support in kindEnhancing studio knowledge of mobile F2P development methodologies and best practicesMotivating and inspiring others to generate new ideas/approachesKeeping uptodate with current and emerging trends in the mobile marketplaceQualifications : What you bring:Exhaustive knowledge of mobile and F2P design fundamentalsExtensive knowledge of data driven design principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take responsibility and ownership with strong personal initiativePositive attitude and drive to work in a challenging highly collaborative team environmentPassion for playing and making games35 years professional design experienceAdditional Information : Ubisoft offers the same job opportunities to all without any distinction of gender ethnicity religion sexual orientation social status disability or age.
