Job Description
Job Description As a Fraud Analytics & Detection Analyst in the Finance Team, your role will involve reviewing and correcting moving averages for all fuel inventory twice a day to ensure accurate inventory value before posting sales. You will also be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and posting fuel sales for company-operated locations into SAP daily. Additionally, you will need to review, research, and resolve any daily inventory variances to safeguard the company from potential issues such as contaminations, delivery shortages, and theft. Overtime and weekend work may be required to assist in the seven-day per week sales posting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and correct fuel inventory moving averages twice daily
- Post fuel sales into SAP accurately and timely
- Resolve any daily inventory variances greater than tolerance
- Prepare and process invoices for fuel carrier for any issues identified
- Assist in the monthly closing process and support external audit requests
- Liaise with internal teams and senior stakeholders as necessary
- May involve supervisory responsibilities
Key Challenges:
- Resolving complex and multi-faceted issues
- Influencing groups with differing priorities
- Tailoring communication style to suit the audience
- Coordinating with customers and colleagues in different locations and time zones
- Adapting to changing reporting requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in general or financial accounting
- Experience with SAP modules FI, MM & SD is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
Preferred Criteria:
- Shared service center experience
- SAP - FI, MM & SD modules experience
- Open to working in all time zones and weekends if required
