Funds Lawyer

Global law firm based in Dubai is seeking a Funds Lawyer with 3-6 PQE to join their award winning investment funds team. The practice's range of work is very diverse from fund establishment as well as investments into funds (including Shari'a compliant structures). The practice has established itself as a significant force in investment funds structuring and establishment.The team advises sponsors and institutional investors - including private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), financial institutions and corporate clients - on fund establishment and related issues. Funds are used as a tool in order to diversify the local economies (e.g. establishment of seed funding programmes, establishment of funds to monetize strategic assets and establishment of funds to attract international managers into the regional financial centres).The funds span a range of asset classes including private equity, infrastructure, venture capital, real estate and technology funds.
