Job Description As a Portfolio Risk Manager in a large EPCM organisation, your role will involve overseeing and managing risks associated with a diverse portfolio of projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, project teams, and the enterprise risk management function to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, and report risks throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing the risk management framework, methodology, and tools for the portfolio of projects in alignment with organizational standards. - Defining and communicating risk management roles and responsibilities for the portfolio and ensuring adherence by project managers and teams. - Facilitating the identification, analysis, evaluation, and treatment of risks for each project and maintaining updated risk registers. - Preparing and presenting risk reports and dashboards, offering insights and recommendations on risk status, trends, and issues. - Conducting regular risk audits, escalating significant risks, and supporting the development of risk response plans. You will need to possess the following qualifications and experiences: - A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field. - Minimum of five years of risk management experience, preferably in a large EPCM organisation. - Proven track record in managing risks for diverse projects, including small to large CAPEX projects, customer projects, and feasibility studies. - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, standards, and certification in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP, IRM, CRMA). - Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in using risk management software such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, or RiskyProject.
