Job Description
Job Description As a Functional Tester at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital channels through Agile software development methodology. Your main responsibilities include:
- Writing test cases based on user story acceptance criteria and business outcomes
- Conducting testing activities, analyzing and recording test results
- Collaborating with other Squad team members to ensure defects are resolved
- Supporting the usage of Test management (MF ALM) and Test execution tools
- Reporting progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
- Governing quality through the SDLC lifecycle and creating Test Automation Strategy & Roadmap for Squads
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts
- Attending Squad ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings
- Conducting quality reviews of deliverables produced by the squad members
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Expertise in Banking/Finance Domain and Functional test preparation & execution with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Experience in designing test cases, user story/script creation, and execution
- Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration
- Proficiency in SOAP and REST API testing, along with tools like POSTMAN
- Familiarity with various test levels and types including white/black box, system, performance, integration, and regression testing
- Strong analytical and technical capabilities
- Hands-on experience in testing automation frameworks and tools
- Familiarity with ALM test management tool and Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams with stakeholders of various levels
