Full Stack Engineer

Software Engineer (Full Stack)Experience4–6 years of professional software engineering experience with strong ownership of production features and full-stack delivery.Role OverviewWe are hiring a Software Engineer to build and evolve core fintech applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers. This role is suited for an engineer who can independently deliver complex features, apply sound engineering judgment, and begin influencing technical direction in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack DeliveryDesign, build, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend, backend services, APIs, and databases.Develop backend services using Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and Python/FastAPI.Build maintainable, responsive UIs using modern frontend frameworks.Own features through design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration.API & Backend EngineeringDesign and implement REST APIs with proper domain modelling, validation, versioning, and error handling.Apply best practices for authentication, authorization, idempotency, and backward compatibility.Identify and address performance, scalability, and maintainability concerns early.Data & PersistenceDesign and work with relational data models using MySQL and PostgreSQL.Write efficient queries and manage schema evolution safely.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and traceability appropriate for financial systems.Gen-AI & Engineering ProductivityUse AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.Validate AI outputs to ensure correctness, security, and production readiness.Follow responsible AI usage practices with no sensitive data leakage.Quality & CollaborationWrite automated tests and participate in code reviews.Diagnose and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause prevention.Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and platform teams.Mentor junior engineers through reviews and knowledge sharing.Required SkillsStrong experience in at least one backend stack: Node.js, PHP/Laravel, or Python/FastAPI.Solid frontend experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.Strong REST API and RDBMS fundamentals (MySQL/PostgreSQL).Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows.Awareness of fintech security, reliability, and compliance expectations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
