Fuel Farm HSE Officer

Position Overview The HSE Officer oversees safety compliance across the fuel farm and hydrant system operations. They manage safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, coordinate emergency response plans, and ensure compliance with GACA environmental and safety regulations, as well as airport safety standards. Key Responsibilities Overseeing safety compliance across fuel farm operations Managing safety procedures and protocols in accordance with GACA regulations Conducting risk assessments and safety audits Coordinating emergency response plans and drills per GACA requirements Ensuring compliance with GACA environmental regulations Monitoring airport safety and ICAO standards compliance Investigating incidents and accidents and reporting to GACA as required Providing safety training and awareness programs aligned with GACA standards Managing PPE requirements and safety equipment Maintaining safety documentation and records for GACA inspections Conducting safety meetings and toolbox talks Liaising with GACA on safety compliance matters Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in aviation or oil & gas Professional HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) Thorough knowledge of GACA safety regulations and standards Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and ICAO standards Understanding of environmental compliance requirementsStrong risk assessment and incident investigation skills Excellent communication and training abilities Proficiency in safety management systems Experience working with GACA regulatory framework
