Job DescriptionConversion Engineer(FLNGPosition to report: Conversion ManagerRESPONSIBILITIESAdhere company safety policy and actively participate in creating safe working environment at all timeTo undertake Jobs assigned by the conversion managerLead FLNG conversion engineering subcontractorPrepare Scope of Work for detailed engineering and Yard activitiesLead and supervise detailed engineering activitiesCoordinate with project team dedicated discipline leadsInvolved in technical review of subcontractorsReview and update Vessel and engineering documentation (P&ID OIM manuals safety studies mooring and installation procedures)Interface with Class and ensure compliance with Class rules for new equipment and life extension of existing equipment (hull fatigue assessment)Interface with package managersREQUIREMENTSMaster Engineering Naval ArchitectMinimum 5 years experience as Engineering leadExperience in ship conversion or FLNG/FSRU newbuildingLNG or cryogenic experience requiredExtensive knowledge in engineering and naval architectureVessel conversion experience requiredFamiliar with applicable regulations codes of practice and standards in the context of marine and offshore oil and gas industry.Experience in the field of Marine and Offshore activities with regards to transport and installation including mooring Must have handson experience with installation and mooring designMust have handson experience with STS operationsA good knowledge of all appropriate engineering systemsA good knowledge of safety and emergency systems and equipment onboardHigh level of verbal and written communication skills in EnglishLOCATION: Dubai1/11 Key Skills Children Activity,Critical Care,Accounts Handling,Animation,Marketing & Branding,Arabic Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
