<div><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Assists in maximizing room sales and revenue.</li><li>Prepares guest name lists.</li><li>Prepares for guest arrivals and departures.</li><li>Greets and addresses guests by name upon their check-in and check-out.</li><li>Assists guests while they are registering.</li><li>Assists guests with transportation arrangements, luggage, payment, etc.</li><li>Escorts guests to their rooms.</li><li>Informs Guest Service Attendants of guests’ room number.</li><li>Shows the room features and facilities to guests.</li><li>Assists and follows up guests’ requests and inquiries.</li><li>Recommends F&B outlets and entertainments in the hotel to guests.</li><li>Briefs next shift personnel to hand over at the end of the shift.</li><li>Provides information, directions and service based on the hotel standards and policies.</li><li>Operates the Business Center in providing secretarial service and handles all requested documents and information.</li><li>Ensures a prompt delivery of mails and messages.</li><li>Is familiar with all cashier policies, credit cards, traveler cheques, currencies as well as foreign exchange.</li><li>Controls and distributes guest room keys.</li><li>Strictly follows hotel and company standards and policies.</li><li>Informs management regarding guest feedback or any unusual events.</li><li>Is familiar with the emergency procedures of the hotel.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by Shift Manager or FO Manager.</li></ul><p>Assists others to ensure the operation is run smoothly and effectively</p><h3>Administrative Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Checks and ensures that the job assigned has been effectively completed on the timely basis and according to hotel’s expectation.</li><li>Conducts daily briefing and de-briefing in the absence of the immediate supervisor</li><li>Recommends corrective actions for unfavorable variances in job standards and budget commitment.</li><li>Proposes an effective duty to ensure sufficiency of manpower in accordance to volume of business.</li><li>Establishes two-way communication within and related departments.</li><li>Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate supervisors and other section heads.</li><li>Prepares volume of business counts and revenue report for the concerned section</li><li>Attends briefing and departmental meetings or as assigned by supervisor.</li><li>Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.</li><li>Administers personnel action on leaves&overtime requests, disciplinary actions and commendation as assigned by supervisor.</li><li>Identifies and solves problems in a professional manner.</li></ul><h3>Technical Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Knows and understands the job description of all positions in the department and be able to perform the task as required.</li><li>Knows and understands policies of the department well and can guide others to perform the job well.</li><li>Recognizes good quality products and presentation</li><li>Checks and improves all service standards established by the company</li><li>Supervises staff activities to maximize revenue and minimize costs.</li><li>Provides assistance to the staff when required during peak periods.</li><li>Maintains grooming standards for all personnel</li><li>Conserves energy and water at all time by not decreasing guest comfort and cleaning efficiency.</li><li>Manages wastes by reducing and recycle the wastes, change staff behavior to carefully use all resources.</li><li>Knows the requisition point and par stock of products used in the department such as guest supplies, paper supplies, etc.</li></ul><h3>Commercial Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Communicates effectively with guest, clients, business partners and staff.</li><li>To be a good sales person to promote hotel’s image and businesses.</li><li>Participates community projects or activities in order to promoting the hotel’s image and cooperation to improve community relationship.</li></ul><h3>Human Resources Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Coaches and counsels all staff when applicable</li><li>Evaluates objectively the performance of staff in his/her responsibilities.</li><li>Provides training to all staff in his/her department regularly.</li><li>Motivates staff to grow within the company.</li><li>Develops him/herself to be better supervisor/manager at all times.</li></ul><h3>Relationship</h3><ul><li>Reports to Unit Manager concerned.</li><li>Directs and supervises activities of subordinates.</li><li>Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.</li></ul><h3>Others</h3><ul><li>Continuous learning through own IDP.</li><li>Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.</li></ul><h3>Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Represents Dusit’s brand and its values at all times.
