OverviewArabian Business is seeking a full‑time Permalancer to lead authoritative coverage of real estate and infrastructure across the Middle East for an initial 12‑month engagement, with the potential for extension. As one of the region’s most influential business titles, Arabian Business delivers agenda‑setting journalism for senior decision‑makers. This role is responsible for shaping how leaders understand one of the Gulf’s most consequential and capital‑intensive sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesBreak exclusive stories on major real‑estate transactions, giga‑projects, and infrastructure developments across the GCC and the region at large.Produce in‑depth features, executive interviews, and sector analysis with strong commercial and investment context.Develop and maintain senior‑level sources across developers, sovereign entities, government authorities, contractors, and advisory firms.Track regulatory shifts, project pipelines, funding structures, capital flows, and market performance.Deliver forward‑looking insight into how real estate and infrastructure shape economic growth and long‑term regional competitiveness.Contribute to recurring sector briefings, special reports, and vertical newsletters.Collaborate with video and podcast teams to extend reporting into multimedia formats where relevant.RequirementsProven experience covering energy, sustainability, finance, or macro‑economic strategy at a reputable business publication.Strong understanding of regional capital flows, sovereign investment structures, and energy transition frameworks.Demonstrated ability to produce authoritative, well‑sourced journalism that resonates with executive and institutional audiences.Ability to translate complex policy, financial, and technical developments into clear, compelling analysis.Confident interviewing C‑suite executives, policymakers, and senior investment professionals.Comfortable contributing to multimedia formats, including on‑camera interviews or briefings where required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
