Freelance Accountant

<div><p>We are seeking an experienced freelance accountant to migrate our accounting records from Tally to Zoho Books for a Saudi Arabia-based company.</p><p>Short-term / Project-based</p><p>Zoho Books is already in use for sales invoicing, while Tally has been used for full accounting. The objective is to complete a clean migration into Zoho Books without duplicating existing data and while restructuring the Chart of Accounts.</p><h3>Scope of Work</h3><ul><li>Migrate accounting data from Tally to Zoho Books</li><li>Work with an existing Zoho Chart of Accounts (different from Tally) and perform proper account mapping</li><li>Set up accurate opening balances (GL, customers, suppliers, bank, etc.)</li><li>Ensure no duplication of sales invoices, revenue, accounts receivable, or VAT, as sales invoices already exist in Zoho Books</li><li>Migrate only relevant data (expenses, payables, bank transactions, journals, etc.) from Tally</li><li>Reconcile data between Tally and Zoho to ensure completeness and accuracy</li><li>Configure VAT in line with Saudi regulations (ZATCA / FATOORA requirements)</li><li>Review and finalize system setup (reports, tax settings, financial statements)</li><li>Validate and clean migrated data</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in Tally to Zoho Books migration</li><li>Strong experience with Zoho Books implementation and configuration</li><li>Experience handling hybrid systems (partial data already in Zoho)</li><li>Solid understanding of Chart of Accounts restructuring and account mapping</li><li>Familiarity with Saudi VAT and ZATCA (FATOORA) compliance</li><li>Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail</li></ul><h3>Deliverables</h3><ul><li>Fully configured Zoho Books system</li><li>Clean and accurate migrated data (no duplication)</li><li>Properly mapped Chart of Accounts</li><li>Verified opening balances and reconciled accounts</li><li>VAT-compliant setup for Saudi Arabia</li><li>Summary of work performed and handover notes</li></ul><p>Short-term project (estimated 3-10 days depending on scope)</p><h3>Application Requirements</h3><ul><li>Details of similar projects (especially Tally → Zoho migrations)</li><li>Experience with Saudi VAT / ZATCA</li><li>Proposed migration approach for this hybrid setup</li><li>Estimated timeline and cost</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
