FP&A Consultant (12-Month Contract)

We are currently looking for an FP&A Consultant to support a key initiative within the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) on a 12-month freelance contract.DCT Abu Dhabi is the government entity responsible for driving the sustainable growth of Abu Dhabi’s culture and tourism sectors, playing a central role in positioning the emirate as a global hub for culture, creativity, and tourism.This role sits within a high-impact program focused on strengthening financial planning, reporting, and analytics capabilities, supporting data-driven decision‑making and operational effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Dashboards & AnalyticsDesign, build, and maintain real‑time financial dashboards tracking budget performance, cash flow, and initiative‑level spendDevelop automated reporting tools and data pipelinesEnsure data integrity and alignment with source financial systemsInternal ReportingOwn the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle, including variance analysis and budget vs. actualsPrepare commentary on key variances and financial trendsCoordinate inputs from programme owners and operational teamsFinance LiaisonAct as the primary interface with Shared Services and central finance teamsSupport budget submissions, procurement workflows, and year‑end processesEnsure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policiesExecutive ReportingPrepare board‑ready financial presentations, investment cases, and budget review materialsTranslate financial insights into clear, decision‑ready narrativesSupport ad hoc financial analysis for senior leadershipPlanning & ForecastingLead the annual budgeting cycle and maintain rolling forecastsBuild and manage financial models for scenario planningDrive continuous improvement of FP&A processes and toolsFunction Setup & IncubationSupport the setup and development of an FP&A function, including processes and frameworksRequirements5–7 years of experience in FP&A, ideally with a foundation in a Big 4 or professional services environmentDemonstrated career progression (1–2 promotions preferred)Experience in high‑growth or dynamic environments is an advantageExperience & ExposureFamiliarity with AI tools in financial modelling and analytics (required)Minimum 2+ years of experience in the GCC (required)Location: Abu DhabiContract: 12 monthsIf this sounds relevant to your background, please apply and submit your updated CV.#J-18808-Ljbffr
