Forklift Loader (5PM-5AM shift)

<div><p>Description</p><h3>Purpose / General Description:</h3><p>Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts in a safe and productive manner in all weather conditions to process customer orders, move inventory and maintain inventory control. Performing housekeeping, organization, minor maintenance, and reporting activities as directed are an essential part of the job.</p><h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li><b>Operate forklift in a safe manner:</b>Moving products to/from processing areas to inventory locations, loading customer orders, receiving deliveries, organizing materials.</li><li><b>Operate tablets, laptops and workstations</b>using various software platforms.</li><li><b>Maintain work areas:</b>Keep locations for product inventory, flatbed loading, and material processing areas organized and clean at all times.</li><li><b>Perform maintenance and inspection activities</b>: Including inspecting and maintaining the equipment in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies</li><li><b>Maintain accurate and timely reporting and recordkeeping:</b>Customer orders, inventory data sheets, non-conformance reports, inspection logs, time sheets, maintenance records</li><li><b>Be an effective team member:</b>Wear PPE consistently, work safely and ensure co-workers do as well, follow all policies and procedures, set an example of good behavior, assist co-workers as needed, work as a team to achieve the production schedule, cooperate with changes in the work hours, days, shifts.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><h3>Minimum Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Valid NC Driver License, clean driving record, and have reliable transportation to work</li><li>3 years’ experience operating a forklift</li><li>Able to lift (up to 80 lbs.), and be physically fit to perform tasks and operate equipment</li><li>Work independently and diligently with minimal directions to complete tasks on schedule</li><li>Communicate well with team members and supervisor</li><li>Apply creativity to solve problems and contribute to the success of the team</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
