Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Forensic Accountant to join our Forensic Services practice at Director level. This is a senior leadership role focused on disputes, quantum analysis, and expert witness work. The successful candidate will lead complex engagements, deliver expert evidence, and play a key role in growing our disputes capability across the Middle East.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver complex dispute advisory and litigation support engagements from inception to resolutionPrepare and present expert witness reports and provide testimony in arbitration, litigation, and mediation proceedingsConduct quantum analysis, damages assessments, and financial investigations for high-value commercial disputesManage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on contentious mattersMentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical excellence and professional growthContribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client pitchesPlay an active role in building and expanding the disputes practice across KSA and UAECollaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Tax, and Deal Advisory on multi-disciplinary engagementsWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a technically excellent forensic accounting professional with a proven track record in disputes and expert witness work. Beyond technical expertise, we value leadership qualities that inspire teams and build lasting client relationships.RequirementsQualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, with a strong focus on disputesDemonstrated experience preparing expert reports and providing expert witness testimonyDeep expertise in quantum analysis, damages calculations, and financial dispute resolutionExperience building or significantly contributing to the growth of a disputes practiceBig 4 background preferred; strong candidates from boutique forensic firms will be consideredWillingness to be based in KSA or UAE, with flexibility to work across both marketsTechnical SkillsExpert-level proficiency in financial analysis and damages quantificationStrong understanding of arbitration and litigation processes across multiple jurisdictionsAdvanced Excel and financial modelling capabilitiesLeadership & Soft SkillsClient Focus: Ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships with credibility and trustCommunication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex financial matters into clear, compelling narrativesLeadership: Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and manage multiple engagements simultaneouslyCommercial Acumen: Strong business development instincts with a track record of winning and growing workIntegrity & Judgement: Impeccable ethical standards and sound professional judgement under pressureAdaptability: Comfortable operating across different markets and cultural contextsWhy Join Us?At KPMG, you'll work on some of the region's most high-profile and complex disputes, supporting clients through their most challenging moments.
