Job Description

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand event requirements and preferencesAssist in planning and organizing food and beverage events considering budget constraintsCoordinate with various departments across the Hotel to ensure seamless execution of the eventsManage and supervise event staff ensuring proper training and performanceOversee catering logistics including menu selection, food presentation and service qualityMonitor and control event budgets, expenses and revenue goalsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations during eventsAddress and resolve issues or concerns that may arise during eventsMaintain relationships with vendors and take part in purchasing negotiations/contract for servicesImplement and uphold quality standards for food and beverage offeringsStay updated on industry trends and suggest innovative ideas for eventsProvide exceptional guest service to enhance overall guest satisfactionPrepare post‑event reports and analyze performance for future improvementsContribute to marketing efforts to promote food and beverage eventsStay informed about emerging trends in the food and hospitality industryQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCollege Degree in Business, Hospitality or Related field preferredOne to two years in a public contact position preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotelEnter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systemsPossess a gracious, friendly and fun demeanorAbility to multitask work in a fast‑paced environment and have a high‑level attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMaintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departmentsAbility to work independently and partner with others to promote an environment of teamworkMust have knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations on bar operationRemote Work: NoEmployment Type: Full‑time#J-18808-Ljbffr
