Job PurposeFirst-of-its-kind training facility in Dubai, the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) is located in Dubai South, Dubai World Central (DWC). With its unique facilities and resources, EFTA offers the opportunity to learn to fly in the most advanced flight training academy in the world.Job DescriptionAs a Flying Instructor at EFTA, you are responsible for delivering high‑quality flying training instruction, initially on SR‑22 single‑engine aircraft, to ab‑initio pilot cadets. Instructional duties include on‑aircraft, in‑simulator, and on‑ground instruction, preparation of lessons, pre‑ and post‑flight briefings, accurate report writing and assessment. Demonstrated proficiency in the single‑engine instructional role opens the potential to move onto the DA42 twin‑engine fleet, and after five years in the instructional role, instructors may apply to join Emirates Airline – an opportunity no other FTO can offer.ResponsibilitiesProvide training and flying instruction to ab‑initio cadets.Conduct pre‑ and post‑flight training briefings to ensure cadets possess the requisite knowledge and understand the processes and procedures fully.Deliver flying skills training in aircraft, simulator, and ground instruction to ensure cadets meet the prescribed standards of flying.Conduct regular checks to ensure cadets meet course standards.Prioritise cadet safety, reporting incidents to the concerned personnel for any violations or situations that may affect safety of operations.Monitor cadet proficiency and progress regularly, generating accurate performance reports.Research, develop, and recommend new training methods to further improve learning and performance.Deliver other flying‑related training initiatives as directed by the CFI.QualificationsExperience as an ab‑initio flying instructor in a large ATO.Minimum 700 total hours, 500 instructional hours, 200 IFR hours.Minimum GCAA or any ICAO Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a Single Engine Class Rating.Minimum Flight Instructor Rating with Night and Instrument privileges.Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions.ICAO English Language Proficiency level 5 or greater.Exceptional instructional technique with understanding of a broad range of teaching methodologies.Computer literate.Required DocumentsCurriculum VitaePassportCPL/ATPL License or CertificateClass 1 Medical Certificate with no limitations (except visual corrections)Last three pages of logbookICAO English Language Proficiency Certificate*No‑incident/accident certificate issued by a Civil Aviation Authority*“Licence Verification Letter” (required by GCAA for licence conversion)Documents may be provided upon joining if not available at application time.Salary & BenefitsBasic salary: AED 24,161 per monthTransport allowanceCompany‑provided accommodationComprehensive medical insuranceStaff travel benefitsJob DetailsRole Level: Mid‑LevelWork Type: Full‑TimeCountry: United Arab EmiratesCity: DubaiCompany: EmiratesJob Function: ManagementIndustry: Airlines and AviationAdditional InformationJoin us and enjoy an attractive tax‑free salary.
