DAY YO DAY OPERATIONSManage the day-to-day OH&S aspects of the project and to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented and complied.Maintain Firefighting equipment on board in a state of readiness.Stand-by or monitor hot work locations as per the hot work permit requirements.Monitor compliance to Hot Work procedure on assigned areas and report unsafe act/ condition.Participate in Emergency Drills.Fire prevention.Emergency Response to rescue of injured or trapped personnel or fighting fire.Maintenance of all fire rescue equipment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDSecondary / High school pass.Fire and rescue training.Trained as a fireman and served minimum three years training with a national fire brigade / shipyard.Good knowledge of Fire and Rescue techniques.Familiar with the ship/Rig construction.Good knowledge on fire prevention.Good awareness about hot work/Fire related risk and other safety related procedures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
