We are seeking a Fire Suppression System Technician for a position at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The Fire Suppression System Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire suppression systems at Al Udeid Air Base. This position requires a highly skilled and licensed professional with specialized experience in fire suppression systems who can work independently and provide technical expertise to ensure all systems meet NFPA standards, base requirements, and safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems, including sprinkler systems, standpipes, fire pumps, valves, and specialty suppression systemsEnsure all work complies with NFPA standards, base-specific requirements, and company safety policiesRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawingsPerform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective maintenanceCoordinate with project managers, inspectors, base personnel, and other trades as requiredMaintain accurate documentation, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, and compliance recordsSupport and assist other technicians and apprentices as neededFollow OSHA, base safety standards, and company safety proceduresEducation & ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of experience specializing in fire suppression systemsStrong working knowledge of NFPA codes and fire suppression system componentsAbility to work independently in a mission-critical environmentProficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentationAdditional RequirementsMust possess a valid U. S. Driver's LicensePossess a valid U. S.
