Fire Protection Engineer

We are currently hiring for an Fire & Gas Site Engineer / Supervisor / technician position with a reputed company based in Qatar.Open PositionThe role involves overseeing below operations with 07 to 10 Years Experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise installation of fire and gas systems (flame detectors, gas detectors, smoke detectors, manual call points, sirens, panels)Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standardsPerform loop checking, calibration, and functional testing of F&G instrumentsExecute and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activitiesVerify cable routing, termination, and panel wiring at siteCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and other disciplines (electrical, instrumentation, safety)Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure complianceTroubleshoot and resolve system faults and alarmsSupport integration with Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)Maintain and update site documentation, reports, and test recordsEnsure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policiesParticipate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and audits Required Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering08-10 years of site experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projectsHands-on experience with fire & gas systems installation and commissioningFamiliarity with hazardous area classifications Key Skills Strong practical knowledge of field instruments and control systemsAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and loop drawingsTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood coordination and communication skillsAwareness of safety practices in hazardous environmentsOnshore/offshore project sites, refineries, or gas plantsPhysically demanding work with exposure to field conditionsRotational shifts or extended site assignments may be requiredIf you are currently available in Qatar and interested in exploring this opportunity, please share your updated CV along with the relevant documents on or WhatsApp on
