Fire and Gas Technician

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timePerform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire and gas detection systems, detectors, alarms, and associated safety devices.Carry out inspection, testing, and calibration of flame detectors, gas detectors, heat/smoke detectors, manual call points, fire alarm panels, and suppression systems.Troubleshoot system faults, repair or replace defective equipment, and restore system functionality.Support commissioning and loop-checking of new fire & gas systems during project execution.Ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards, client specifications, and international codes (NFPA, IEC, etc.).Maintain accurate maintenance records, test reports, and logbooks.Provide support during shutdowns, emergencies, and drills.Follow all company HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, and safety guidelines.Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure reliability of fire & gas systems.RequirementsQualifications & ExperienceDiploma / Technical Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline.5 years of experience in maintenance of fire & gas systems in oil & gas / petrochemical plants (preferred in Qatar/GCC).Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, suppression systems, gas detection systems, and safety instrumentation.Familiarity with international standards (NFPA, IEC, BS, etc.).Basic knowledge on ATEX and other oil and Gas norms .Proficiency in reading P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings.Good communication and reporting skills.Valid certifications in Fire & Gas systems, H2S, PTW, and basic safety (advantage).(CVs without proper documents like QID, Passport copy, educational & other certificates shall not be considered)Only Qualified candidates shall be contacted for interview#J-18808-Ljbffr
