Fire alarm operator

OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection and security systems, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and respond to fire alarms and other emergency signals from various propertiesCoordinate with emergency services and dispatch them to the appropriate location when necessaryConduct routine checks of fire protection and security systems to ensure they are functioning properlyTroubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with fire alarm systemsMaintain accurate records of all alarms, responses, and maintenance activitiesCommunicate with clients to provide updates and address any concerns or questionsStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our servicesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in fire protection or security systems is preferredMinimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial settingKnowledge of fire alarm systems and emergency proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as neededValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust pass a background check and drug screeningBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
