OverviewAs theFire Alarm & Mass Notification Technician , you will perform routine and complex maintenance and repairs on various fire alarm systems and suppression equipment, e.g., wet sprinklers & kitchen extinguishing.Essential Job FunctionsThe purpose of this position is to inspect, service, maintain, repair fire alarm and suppression systems.Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.Shall develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent defective services from recurring.Performs other duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceNICET Certified Level I – Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems is requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentAssociate or bachelor’s degree in engineering is highly desired.Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety Industry including:Experience in Fire Alarm & Suppression Field as Journeyman and/or Foreman.Extensive knowledge of various types of Sprinkler Systems (wet, kitchen extinguishing, etc.).Additional RequirementsMust possess a valid U. S. Driver’s LicensePossess a valid U. S.
