Job Description As a Financial Modelling & Analytics Specialist at Chevron's ENGINE Innovation team in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in building robust analytical models to perform advanced financial planning and sensitivity analysis across scenarios. Your work will aid Chevron's ENGINE in offering unparalleled support under complex and evolving business conditions. By collaborating with global stakeholders across operations, enterprise planning, and finance, you will shape future-ready strategies that influence capital allocation, portfolio optimization, and performance management. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain financial models (e.g., cash flow forecasts, NPV/IRR, capital planning) to support core business analysis, translating operational metrics into financial metrics - Ensure high performance standards with strategic back-testing to validate assumptions and improve predictive stability - Partner with analytics, finance, and operations to align on inputs, data refresh cadence, and result interpretation while adhering to pre-established global IT standards - Implement scenario frameworks and stress tests to manage scenario libraries for rapid what-if analysis and proactive model upgradation - Maintain auditability, versioning, and lineage for model code, assumptions, and outputs; curate certified, documented models in the catalog - Extend models with advanced capabilities (e.g., stochastic drivers, real options valuation, robust sensitivity and tornado analyses) to inform high-impact operational and strategic decisions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance/Economics, Computer Science, or related field - 610 years in decision analysis, financial modeling, or advanced analytics, with a track record of producing models that support executive leadership decision-making - Expertise in advanced financial scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and probabilistic modeling - Experience integrating diverse data sources for enterprise-level insights - Strong Python and SQL skills for simulation, analytics, and automation - Ability to quantify and communicate uncertainty and trade-offs to non-technical audiences using business language In this role, you will have the opportunity to take part in world-leading energy projects, advance your professional development, and expand your career within an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
