Job Description

Job Title: Financial Crime Compliance / AML Officer (Contract)Location: Dubai, UAERole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Compliance / AML Officer to support our compliance function on a contract basis in Dubai. The role is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of AML/CFT frameworks, maintaining robust KYC processes, and supporting the organisation’s compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls in line with UAE regulations and international standardsConduct KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews for new and existing clientsMonitor transactions and investigate potential suspicious activitiesPrepare and support submission of SAR/STR reports where requiredPerform ongoing client reviews and risk assessmentsProvide guidance to internal stakeholders on financial crime compliance mattersSupport internal audits and regulatory inspectionsAssist in enhancing AML frameworks, controls, and processesDeliver AML/KYC training and awareness across the businessRequirementsProven experience in AML, Financial Crime Compliance, or a similar roleStrong knowledge of AML regulations, KYC/CDD/EDD requirements, and financial crime risksExperience in developing and implementing policies and proceduresHands‑on experience with transaction monitoring and investigationsFamiliarity with the UAE regulatory environment is preferredRelevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are advantageousStrong analytical, communication, and report‑writing skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyKey CompetenciesHigh attention to detail and strong analytical capabilitySound judgment and decision‑making skillsAbility to identify, assess, and escalate risks appropriatelyStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsProfessional integrity and accountability#J-18808-Ljbffr
