Our network also includes Fakeeh MediCenters across Dubai for accessible primary care, the tech-enabled Fakeeh Smart Clinic for hybrid physical and virtual care, and Fakeeh DaySurge, focused on minimally invasive, same-day procedures.Aligned with our organizational values and PCC goals, we value professionals who bring experience in community engagement or corporate social responsibility (CSR), as such backgrounds reflect our shared commitment to meaningful social impact and community upliftment.JOB PURPOSE:The Financial Controller is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, ensuring robust financial management, regulatory compliance, and effective financial service delivery across the hospital and its network of clinics.The role oversees corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and financial governance to support cost-effective, high-quality healthcare operations and strategic decision-making.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:The Financial Controller oversees financial operations and ensures strong financial governance across the organization. Key responsibilities include:Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory, Cash Management, and Revenue RecognitionEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the hospital and clinic networkLead annual budgeting and multi-year financial planning processes; monitor variances and provide actionable insightsPartner with the Director of Finance to implement cost control initiatives and monitor financial performance across locationsReview service line and departmental profitability; provide financial analysis and decision support to senior managementMonitor cash flow and working capital; oversee receivables management to ensure optimal liquidityEstablish, enforce, and continuously improve internal controls, segregation of duties, DOA compliance, and finance SOPsEnsure robust billing, cash handling, refund, and adjustment controls within the HIS environmentSupport capital planning and financial feasibility assessments for expansions, upgrades, and major equipment investmentsEnsure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirementsLead internal and external audits, including year-end statutory reporting, and ensure timely closure of audit findingsLead, mentor, and develop the Finance teamPerform other duties commensurate with the roleEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSBachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ CommerceProfessional certification required: CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA8-10 years of progressive finance experience preferably in well established and busy Healthcare setupMinimum 5 years in a Controller or Senior Finance Leadership roleHealthcare sector experience - Hospital, clinic network, diagnostics are essentialStrong knowledge of IFRSExtensive experience in internal controls and SOP developmentProven ability to manage complex budgets in a healthcare environmentStrong understanding of healthcare revenue cycles and cost containment strategiesExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsHigh integrity and attention to detailCOMPETENCIES:Adaptability & ResilienceAccountability & Role Understanding with Accreditation KnowledgeTeamwork and Relationship Building with Cultural AlignmentTalent Management and DevelopmentCompassionate and Effective Communication#J-18808-Ljbffr
