Job Description

Industry: Heavy Machinery / Equipment / Industrial SolutionsRole SummaryThe Financial Controller will serve as the senior finance leader responsible for overseeing all financial operations, governance, reporting, and strategic financial planning of business.The role will ensure robust financial control, IFRS compliance, cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and support commercial growth across large-scale projects, equipment trading, after-sales services, and leasing operations.The position will act as a strategic business partner to the GM and Board, providing financial insight to drive sustainable profitability and capital efficiency in a project-driven, asset-intensive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling aligned with business expansion plans.Provide board-ready financial presentations and strategic insights.Support capital investment decisions for machinery acquisition, fleet expansion, and infrastructure development.Conduct feasibility analysis and ROI evaluation for new projects and dealership expansions.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements (ZATCA, VAT, Corporate Tax).Ensure accurate consolidation of subsidiaries and branch operations.Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.Optimize working capital (inventory turnover, receivables from contractors, payables management).Supervise credit control for project-based and equipment sales customers.Support financing arrangements including bank facilities, leasing structures, and supplier credit.Implement project accounting and cost tracking mechanisms.Monitor gross margins on machinery sales, service contracts, and spare parts.Analyze equipment lifecycle costing and depreciation strategies.Control CAPEX related to fleet, warehouses, and workshop facilities.Establish financial dashboards for service revenue, warranties, and AMC contracts.Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures, or dealership partnerships.Perform enterprise valuations and financial scenario modeling.Support negotiations with investors, OEM partners, and strategic stakeholders.Oversee ERP optimization (Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / SAP preferred).Drive automation of reporting and consolidation processes.Strengthen financial data accuracy and real-time business intelligence reporting.Lead and develop the finance team (Accounting, Treasury, AP/AR, Cost Control).Establish SOPs, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.Foster performance-driven and compliance-oriented finance culture.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).Professional Certification required: CMA / CFA / ACCA / CPA.Minimum 12–15+ years experience in Finance with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Experience in Heavy Machinery, Industrial Equipment, Construction, Manufacturing, or Asset-Intensive industries is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of:IFRS & Saudi regulatory environmentVAT & ZATCA complianceFinancial modeling & enterprise valuationConsolidation & multi-entity reportingProven exposure to Board-level reporting and strategic advisory.Strategic financial planning capabilityStrong commercial acumenProject-based financial controlTreasury & banking relationship management#J-18808-Ljbffr
