Financial Analyst

In this role, you will contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders across the region and headquarters.</p><h3>Activities</h3><h3>Reporting and Analysis</h3><ul><li>Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards</li><li>Conduct variance analysis, explain deviations from budget and forecast, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and asset teams</li><li>Develop ad-hoc reports and presentations for management and asset managers as required</li></ul><h3>Budgeting and Forecasting</h3><ul><li>Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with internal stakeholders</li><li>Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decision-making</li><li>Develop and present budget and forecast materials for management reviews and partner meetings</li></ul><h3>Compliance and Controls</h3><ul><li>Ensure all accounting processes and financial documentation comply with IFRS, SOX, and local regulatory requirements</li><li>Serve as the reference point for accounting standards, internal controls, and documentation best practices</li><li>Monitor and guarantee the accuracy and reliability of consolidated financial statements</li></ul><h3>Audit and Review</h3><ul><li>Coordinate all phases of internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of required documentation and responses</li><li>Interface directly with auditors to clarify account review topics, supporting transparency and compliance throughout the review process</li><li>Document and implement audit recommendations to strengthen financial controls and risk management</li></ul><h3>Stakeholder Collaboration</h3><ul><li>Collaborate effectively with internal teams, regional headquarters, and external partners to optimize financial processes and ensure alignment with strategic objectives</li><li>Attend finance committees and prepare materials for partner meetings, facilitating informed decision-making across all levels</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement</li></ul><h3>Tax and Social Declarations</h3><ul><li>Manage and control monthly tax payments and annual tax declarations, ensuring compliance with all national and international regulations</li><li>Oversee social declarations and related compliance activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes</li></ul><h3>Process Optimization</h3><ul><li>Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and support company-wide initiatives</li><li>Financial Analysis for Management</li><li>Produce detailed financial analyses to support management's strategic decision-making, including scenario modeling and impact assessments</li><li>Provide clear, actionable insights to guide business planning and resource allocation</li></ul><h3>Candidate Profile</h3><h3>Education&Experience</h3><ul><li>Master's degree</li><li>Minimum 5 years' experience in Reporting, Accounting, or FP&A</li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Advanced MS Office (Excel++)</li><li>Experience with Galaxy, Galyz Shuttle, SmartView</li><li>Strong understanding of IFRS, SOX, Corporate Finance, and E&P accounting</li></ul><h3>Behavioral Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li></ul><h3>Languages</h3><ul><li>Fluent English</li><li>French recommended</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual growth and offers equal opportunity careers.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
