This would include supporting the monthly and quarterly reporting process as well as helping with longer‑term forecasting, emphasizing key insights, trends and analysis to support senior management decision‑making.This role will also play a consultative role for the finance team by building appropriate pitch decks, conducting internal and external research and creating business cases. As a result, this member will likely take on leadership responsibility for approved projects and initiatives.The preferred candidate must have a deep and competent understanding of business strategy and subsequently be able to provide robust financial support on a wide range of topics. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer for GIH but is required to maintain strong relationships with finance peers and an understanding of consolidated international results.Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions / Results:Support monthly reporting/close process for GIHProvide financial reporting insights and analytics to enable key decision‑making across the organisation, improving and iterating as the business growsBuild presentation decks and memos that support project initiatives or key finance updatesAct as a consultant for the finance teamLead critical projects that have been approved, seeing them through both design and implementationDevelop and maintain key financial controls, governance and documentationBuild strong relationships and processes between central finance functions and GIHRepresent GIH finance at meetings or project callsSupport process innovation work with regard to finance tools and platforms with emphasis on TM1, Alteryx and TableauSkills Required7 years of relevant finance and consultancy experiencePrior experience working in insurance or financial services industry is preferredHighly analytical and proficient reporting/modelling skillsMeticulous work and an eye for fine detailsProblem solving and critical thinkingStrong business and financial acumenHigh emotional intelligence when working with senior stakeholdersProficient in Excel, Alteryx, Tableau and other Microsoft suite programsExcellent English verbal and written skillsEducation and Other Requirements:A graduate degree in Finance, Accountancy, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or closely related fieldMore than 7 years working experience in finance roles requiredA deep passion for analysis, process transformation and technological innovation with proven experienceStrong consulting skillsAbility to travel internationallyWhat we are looking forWe are seeking individuals who thrive in collaborative environments, are passionate about driving meaningful change and are excited to grow in a company that prioritizes its people.Join us and be part of a company where your growth ideas and contributions are valued.
