OverviewPosition: Financial Advisor / IFA / Wealth Manager role.UK-Qualified IFAs Welcome: This role is open to FCA-regulated professionals (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP) based in the United Kingdom. Most of our clients provide full visa sponsorship, some offer relocation assistance, and guidance on cross-border compliance for international placements.Our client is one of the largest independent, award-winning financial services and insurance brokers in the Gulf region, with more than 20 years of established operations. With a strong and growing presence in Dubai, the firm operates a fully regulated platform supporting experienced advisors in building long-term, sustainable advisory businesses.The primary purpose of this Head of Commercial Lines role is to provide leadership, structure, and strategic direction to the Commercial Lines (CLS) team. You will be responsible for meeting performance targets, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring consistently high service standards for clients. The role includes managing client relationships, supporting consultants in winning and retaining business, and growing the Commercial Lines portfolio.This position requires proven experience across all areas of Commercial Lines insurance, serving independent professionals, SMEs, and corporate clients.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with senior leadership to support the design, execution, and ongoing delivery of the commercial sales strategy, including new business development and market expansionCollaborate with the Head of General Insurance and consultants on strategic accounts and complex client requirementsAlign and support Commercial Lines initiatives in coordination with Sales DirectorsApply structured workflows and processes to maintain proactive client engagement, update coverage, review risk exposures, and identify account development opportunitiesMonitor CLS team performance to ensure service quality across renewals, claims, endorsements, and premium collectionsEnsure quote-to-issuance processes are delivered within agreed SLAs and maintain accurate tracking of any SLA exceptionsBuild and sustain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, insurers, and business partnersFoster a high-performance culture through effective leadership, communication, coaching, and performance managementGrow the Commercial Lines portfolio through your existing client book and professional networkMaintain accurate records, reporting, and case management in line with internal processesEnsure full adherence to underwriting, compliance, and departmental guidelines in accordance with company SOPsDemonstrate a professional, proactive, and solution-focused approach at all timesCandidate ProfileMinimum of 5 years’ management experience in Commercial Lines insurance within the regionStrong background in underwriting, coverage analysis, pricing, policy implementation, and claims managementIn-depth technical knowledge of commercial insurance products with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and internal teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyFluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookCII or equivalent General Insurance certification is mandatoryWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary aligned to experience and expertiseAttractive performance-based incentives with strong earning potentialMedical and Life Insurance coveragePlease note: This opportunity is suited to experienced insurance professionals with at least 5 years in Management of Commercial Lines Insurance in the region including underwriting, coverage and rate analysis with policy implementation & claim management experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
